We have received many comments, of which circa 100 passed our moderator and got posted onto our site.

We became aware, however, that this site was difficult to access and to follow. Rather than add to the confusion and frustration that we know most LiPs feel, we decided to close this part of the site.

We have since been completely re-designing this single site into two seperate sites;

1. an information site  – and please note that the Law is constantly changing, and no two cases are ever the same, so we take NO responsibility as to how this information relates to your matter. That is for you to decide. We shall be adding to the information site, and we seek contributions from all interested people to help us populate the vast number of areas where Litigants in Person can learn about the Law, and how it works.
2. a separate discussion forum which will be “dynamic”. We ask you to use the “Discussion Forum” as part of your learning process – remembering that forum members are self-selecting and it is up to you to decide how to use (or not use) what members may say in the heat of  discussion.

We hope that as these two sites develop, they will help you better understand the Law, how it works, and how you may present your case in the very best possible light.

We hope this new format works for you! If it does not, we expect you to tell us.

We’re looking for the smallest most practical tips you can think of that actually made a difference, in your opinion – things like;

• how you talked
• how you dressed
• how you presented your case
• how you interacted with the other side
• how you chose the documents you chose
• how you secured the documents that you used
• how you organised the documents for the others to review
• etc. etc. etc.

Having said this, if you would still like others to read about a specific, ongoing case, please feel free to post a comment to this post including a very short general summary / taster and a link to where others can read more about the case.

Caveates:
We cannot accept a post that accuses specific individuals of wrong-doing.

Please avoid using hyperbole. “Throw-away “comments will in fact be thrown away.

If your comments about an ongoing case are fully-evidenced and fact-based, then please make sure you provide links to the judgements, transcripts or hearings etal that in your belief establish this, so that those who take an interest and want to read about the case along with the evidence that substantiates the story can do so.
